Director of Outreach at Morningstar Christian Fellowship, Johnson, originally from Taiwan but raised in Scarborough, brings a wealth of experience and passion to Christian Hospitality Ministry (CHM). His journey began with a B.A. from the University of Toronto (Scarborough) and a B.Ed. from O.I.S.E., which laid the foundation for his career in education. It was during his time teaching overseas that Johnson encountered Christ, a pivotal moment that redirected his path towards missions.

Subsequently, Johnson served with OMF in various capacities, driven by his newfound faith. His dedication led him to pursue further theological education, earning an MDiv from Tyndale Seminary. Equipped with this deepened understanding of Christian ministry, Johnson has served as a pastor in primarily ethnic churches, where he has nurtured communities and fostered spiritual growth.

In his role at CHM, Johnson brings his diverse background and pastoral experience to bear, supporting international students in their educational and personal journeys. His belief in the transformative power of Christ's love guides his interactions with students, ensuring they receive not only practical assistance but also spiritual encouragement. Johnson's commitment to CHM is rooted in his belief that every student deserves holistic support to achieve their academic and personal goals.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Johnson finds fulfillment in his role as a husband to Rachel and a father to their three children. His various interests all center around a core value: loving and supporting those around him, embodying the ethos of Christian hospitality that CHM strives to uphold.
